This weekends fixtures 9/10th March

CLUB RUGBY

This weekend sees the Mens and Womens 1st XV’s return to action. 

The Mens 1st XV will be looking to advance in the Scottish Cup by negotiating a tough away fixture against Watsonian FC, at Myreside in Edinburgh.  

The games between these teams have generally been hard fought and entertaining. Watsonians home form has been excellent this year so it’s no easy task for the Highland lads.  

The reward for getting through to the next round? Another away trip against the winner of the Biggar RFC v Marr RFC first round tie. 

The Women’s 1st XV – are looking to travel to Catto Park to take on Peterhead Ladies, who play a division above our team in Caledonia North Region League Division 1. 

However, there are still some arrangements to be finalised here to settle on the game day as Peterhead are struggling for a team on the scheduled fixture date on Sunday 10th. Peterhead would prefer to play on Saturday 9th, but unfortunately Highland are the other way around, struggling to field a team on the Saturday but OK on the Sunday.  Watch this space for further details. 

6 NATIONS ROUND 4

After a rest week, the 6 nations returns this weekend for Round 4. Once again the club will be showing all the games live on the big screen. The club will be open from 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
