CALUM MACKINTOSH

 

It is with the deepest sadness and regret that I write to all of our club family to advise of the devastating and untimely passing of former player Calum Mackintosh, at just 19 years old.

 

An outstanding sportsman who excelled at just about everything he tried, Calum played for Highland RFC from P1 through to U16’s before focusing on his first love shinty.

 

Calum stayed close mates with many of our lads and continued to play rugby alongside a big Highland RFC contingent at Napier University and indeed came along to watch our 1s game against Watsonians earlier this month.

 

Our sincere condolences to Calum’s family and friends.

 

The thoughts of the whole Highland RFC community are with you at this devastatingly tragic time.
