Sea Eagles keen to get back to playing rugby
Canal Park, INVERNESS, Sat 18th Feb 2023, KO 12 Noon.
With the 3rd XV’s last game being back on the 3rd of December you would be forgiven in thinking that the team might just have to be introduced to each other before taking the field.
There have been several failed attempts to arrange friendlies which fell through for various reasons. This includes a previous game against Saturdays opponents Skye RFC which had to be cancelled due to illness in the west coast team.
We’re delighted to finally be able to welcome Skye RFC Canal Park. Skye have only recently reformed and got back to playing. It’s fantastic to have a presence on the west coast again after the sad demise of the former Skye & Lochalsh Club.
They will be an unknown quantity for our lads which adds a bit of intrigue.
This will be a timely challenge for the 3rd XV arriving at the end of the week when the Post Split Caledonia North League Div 3 fixtures were finally announced.
